Philippine holds a Master’s degree from the European School of Osteopathy (ESO), Kent, England and a comprehensive Polestar Pilates Diploma that she completed under guidance from industry leaders in Paris. She is a caring and empathetic Osteopath with over a decade of experience spanning across private care, physio led pilates and NHS outpatients.
Over the years, her practice has evolved from using predominantly manual therapy to using exercise as part of her treatments. Her experience working for a physio led pilates clinic in London has provided her with invaluable knowledge of injury rehabilitation.
She is one of only two osteopaths in the Chester area who has senior experience in the NHS and has a wealth of experience managing complex pain presentations. She has a specialist interest in back pain and shoulder pain, running shoulder pain rehab classes in her previous hospital job.
A background in classical guitar, athletics and dancing contribute to her understanding of the demands on the body from our own individual lives and passions, and the need to restore our ability to do what we love with confidence.
Her goal is to make patients feel heard and seen with their pain, reassured by a accurate diagnosis and empowered with a treatment plan using the patient’s preference in her approach. A session typically involves case history taking, examination, manual therapy and exercise guidance.
